I just took a large dose of the sizzurp (Zzzquil) so hopefully I will be drifting away on a cloud of sleep soon. Hopefully.
I've had the WORST insomnia lately. I either can't fall asleep (what's going on right now) or I have no problem falling asleep but then I wake up wide awake in the middle of the night.
People have mentioned all sorts of things for the reason why: drinking at night, restless thoughts, too much exercise, not enough exercise, hormones, stress. Likely it's a combination of all of the above, and I really don't so much care about solving the mystery of it all, I just want it to be back to normal.
The most frustrating part of it is that I am genuinely TIRED. To some degree I think we're all a bit sleep deprived and for me right now it's maddening. I was hoping that by the time I was done with this entry, that I'd be feeling a bit dazed and droopy-eyed. But, sigh. Nope.
