I wrote this to the manager of a band called "An Angle"
If you haven't heard of them and are interested in what i am talking about you can sample MP3s are there website

Hello,
There seems to be quite a similarity between An
Angle and legendary folk singer/song writer Conor
Oberst, vocally, instrumentally, and lyrically. I was
curious if that is where the singer of An Angle got
his inspiration for his style/title of songs on the
album. Tracks like: An Angle - Did you? Did you? Did
you?; Bright Eyes - You Will. You? Will. You? Will.
You? Will. An Angle - Like a Locket, Like a Necklace,
Like a bracelet; Bright Eyes - A Spindle, A Darkness,
A Fever, And A Necklace. Then there are pieces of
lyrics used in Bright Eyes songs to make titles of
tracks for An Angle, not to mention the name.
BRIGHT EYES LYRICS

"I Watched You Taking Off"

meaning is sometimes hard to spot
it begins with the flickering of cigarettes
in the darkness of a dorm room
somewhere in the suffocated mid-west

Track #8 Flickering of Cigarettes

BRIGHT EYES LYRICS

"Waste Of Paint Lyrics"

Sometimes I park my car down my the cathedral, where
floodlights point up at the steeples.
Choir practice is filling up with people. I hear the
sound escaping as an echo.
Sloping off the ceiling at an angle. When
voices blend they sound like angels.

Bands name

Also there are An Angle songs that have the same
rhythm and pauses as Bright Eyes songs. One that is
most noticeable is: Like a Locket, Like a Necklace,
Like a bracelet; which sounds just like Bright Eyes
song, June On The West Coast.

There are also the very obvious similarities like his
pronunciation and whispers through songs. I would just
like some answers. I have been a very loyal Conor
Oberst fan, and would hate for a counterfeit to get
credit where it is not due.

Thank you for your time,

Jeremy Brooks
