Grouchy: crabbed; perversely irritable

I would never let my parents tell me who I can and cannot be friends with.

I understand respecting your parents and their wishes, but I woul dnever let them control my life like that. I'm smart enough to make my own friends-- I don't hang out with people that get drunk and stoned out of their minds.

Neither does [friend V]. I don't know if this is the case and if this is actually what happened, but it's happened before. And I'm sick of V's mom controlling her like that.

I'm also way sick of people talking about how they can't eat or how they count calories or whatever.

At band camp, we've had cookies the past few days. Please, I need a cookie the least of anyone, but I was hungry, so I took a cookie. It wasn't a big deal. Okay? It was a cookie! If it wasn't a big deal to me, it certainly shouldn't be a big deal to [friend D]. She is a stick-- she's tiny! I sick of hearing about how she won't eat lunch or eat a cookie or whatever.

I know eating disorders are serious, but she doesn't have one. She just doesn't eat. And I know some people have smaller appetities than others, but when people that are thin limit themselves on calories just to keep their weight down (and not to just be healthy in general), I get angry!

If you're hungry, just eat. Okay? If you want a cookie, just eat a cookie. One cookie will not kill you.

I'm also sick of [friend A]. I can actually stand her most of the time, but I'm so sick of hearing about her love handles. Alyssa, YOU DON'T HAVE LOVE HANDLES. I HOPE YOU READ THIS BECAUSE I AM ABSOLUTELY SICK OF HEARING ABOUT HOW FAT YOU ARE. YOU ARE NOT FAT. YOU ARE PETITE. YOU DON'T HAVE LOVE HANDLES.

And if you really are so concerned about being fat (*snort*), then don't roll your shorts down so that it looks like you aren't even wearing any. Okay? Wear your shorts the way they are meant to be worn. It's simply, it's easy, it's understandable. If you are so concerned about being fat, don't wear little tank tops and micro-mini shorts. I'M SICK OF HEARING ABOUT HOW YOU ARE SO FAT!

Another thing I'm sick of? People wearing shirts and shorts that actually fit, but saying that they are "so huge!"

Um, I'm sorry that you all don't seem to understand this, but clothes don't need to STICK TO YOUR SKIN to qualify as FITTING. Just because your shorts go down past your butt and don't stick to your thighs like glue doesn't mean they are "huge!" It actually means they fit and fit JUST FINE. And just because your shirt doesn't, God forbid, stick to you like glue, it doesn't mean that it is an XXL. Perhaps it means that it's a normal adult small shirt, and that's how things should be worn.

I'm just so sick and tired of people wearing skin tight clothes and thinking that's the way things should be. Can we stop manufacturing children's clothes and saying that they are a size 8?
