jingle all the way
here's why i suck at christmas shopping.
a) i keep finding things that i want for myself. then i have to spend twenty mins convincing myself that i'm shopping for other people and i don't really need that. two hours later i've only purchased three presents.
b) immediately after i purchase a gift, i second guess it. then, half the time end i up exchanging it because i've decided it's not quite right and then i wonder why i bought it in the first place. then i realize that it was because i spent forever in the store looking for a gift with "have a holly jolly christmas" playing in the background and the fifth sales girl coming up to me going "did you see the lovely new pants we have in?" and at that point i would have purchased a magenta christmas tree sweater if it meant i had another gift down.
c) despite all of this i REALLY like buying people gifts that i know they'll enjoy. most of the time really good gifts are expensive and i work at shaw's. the end.
