The first and last ones have the same reason, and that reason is LOL. I have a marked tendency to hang on to LOL icons just because. Though actually, in the case of these two, it's that the first one is still in use (my god I thread slowly these days), and the last one received widespread praise and I like it myself, so I kept it.

The second one is actually multipurpose! I have used it when Kakyou was underwater, and it can also be one of his legion of depressed icons. I also have some vague thoughts about possibly turning Kakyou into an ice fairy or something in future. Because crack is fun.

...The third one is because it's pretty and I like it. Almost no other reason at all, though I claim it is a metaphor to justify having it. It's also one of the ones that I will randomly use as an OOC icon. The scene is from Kakyou's dreamscape, which is hardly surprising since he had most of his appearances in it.

The fourth one is because Kakyou is, first and foremost, a CLAMP character. That means one of two things, cherry blossoms or feathers. And Kakyou hates cherry blossoms with a passion, for perfectly understandable reasons. So this often tends to be one of Kakyou's 'high drama' icons.
