She does, doesn't she?



The grudge spirits are not actually a power Mio has, but rather a power belonging to her actress, Kyouko. I thought the ability to channel little spirits of rage was too good to pass up, so I ganked it for her. Somehow it's become my OOC icon without me really intending to.



Froma a scene in the drama:
Mizuki: "Why do you want to hurt him so much? He's your own sister's boyfriend!"



This icon is from when Kyoko (Mio's actress) really gets into Mio's character for the first time. When people start asking her where she's been and what happened to her hair (originally Mio had a long haired wig, but Kyoko felt that Mio's character would be better with short hair, so she ran off to change her hair without permission), Kyoko ignores them all until someone tries to touch her to see if she's all right. Then she swats him with a book and gives him this wonderful glare. This is my favorite of Mio's angry glares. ♥



This is actually Welsper, from Ah! My Goddess. I blacked out the star on his forehead and added the scarring myself. I'm not completely satisfied with how turned out, but I'm still proud of myself for making it look as good as it does.



This is actually not from a scene with Mio in it, but Kyoko had such a good pissed off look that I had to use it anyway. I recolored the background to a bloodred color because that's the aura color I think suits Mio best. (That, and to match another icon that needed a color change to lighten up the color of the background.)



This is what happens when Kyoko finds out the lead singer of Sho's (Kyoko's ex-crush who used then dumped her) rival band Vie Ghoul is in it just to try to get a rise out of Sho. ("The one who to make him feel defeat and despair in the showbiz world for the first time has to be me!")
This is definitely my favorite of the 'aura icons' (icons where Mio is using her powers). At some point I'd like to recolor the background red to match the other aura icons, but it's a lot trickier than the others because parts of the aura swirlies actually go over her body & hair, so I haven't yet.
