Poor Ichigo needs to be protected from himself again. He doesn't know how fortunate he is that I've taken a charitable interest in him. Jessica Rabbit is convinced that I'm the decent sort of guy who cares more about a woman's brains than her bodacious body. Most of that is true. There's the possibility that blankets get a voyeuristic thrill from ( Read more... )

He's all naive on the sex thing. It's so cute.

Shinigami?

Eszett had a drug that could temporarily cut telepaths off from their power. I got my hands on some and used it once during one of my chip-related episodes. You remember that fucking thing that was inside my head slowly killing me, right? I'd have episodes where my telepathic shields would crash and I'd suddenly have about 10,000,000 people bellowing in my brain. That puts strain on the body as well as a guy's sanity.

So I used the drug and it worked. I had no telepathy at all for about three hours. It was awful. They don't call it a "sixth sense" for nothing, bub.

Even when I'm shielded I can feel the buzz of people existing around me. I felt nothing. It was dead quiet, like I'd gone deaf but worse. I wouldn't leave the apartment because I would be among people but they'd be missing something and it would drive me nuts faster. I tried to watch TV but my Japanese was no longer as good. When Brad came home I kept touching him constantly to make sure he was really there and not an illusion. I would have taken a sedative to knock myself out but I was afraid it would interact with the drug I was already on and kill me. After all that I decided I'd rather go insane from the 10,000,000 people occasionally yelling than from how life was on the drug.

Wow, that's kinda' suck, to say the least. Kinda' sucks to be at the mercy of something.

The chip's gone, so it's cool.

It's kinda like how you're "at the mercy of" your ability to see. Or move. You can survive without them, but you wouldn't be the same you. It's a component of who you are, bro. Telepathy is a part of who I am.

::He's not going to mention how he was still able to fight you even when he couldn't "feel" you because we're putting that bad blood behind us, ja.::

Yeah. Never know all the crazy shit that happens in life.

*Doesn't mention how he still considers them all monsters, and therefore unworthy of any kind of sympathy.*

Too true, my friend.

::Doesn't mention how he can hear that anyway since you're no longer Charmed. Doesn't mention that he's still regretful that they didn't get a chance to sic the rabid badgers on you during the battle when you didn't have your Shield.::

So, how's everyone else doin'?

*Currently wondering whether he left the oven on back at the apartment. He didn't did he? No, of course not. Wait. Yes. Maybe? What?*

Farf is off talking to God again or something. Haven't seen him in a while so I don't know. Nagi and the rest of his Schwarz are stuffed in an apartment meant for only two people and driving themselves bonkers.

::Currently wishes you were still Charmed because then he wouldn't have to listen to you "think." Geez. He can't even tell you whether you did or not just to end your mental monologue because you don't have a clue.::

Uh, what? Excuse me?

*Has an image of Farf actually sitting down to tea with God and another of Nagi "stuffing" the other members of Schwarz, at his apartment. And here he thought Nagi looked more like an Uke.*

I wish Farf just set out tea and crumpets.

Nagi an uke? Bwahahaahahahaa! What, because he's small? That kid's bossy even when he bottoms, and he totally semes Yohji no matter what position he's in.

You were all "what?" with no audible clues as to what the what was, so what else was I supposed to do to answer you? Give a guy some help here.

It's what I am. I don't ask you to stop being a homunculus in front of me.

Besides, it's easy. There are a lot of pictures.

::Huh, Greed's mental upset of unwordiness is weirdly Nordic.::

man_of_means January 7 2007, 23:09:14 UTC
Yeah, I can't stop bein' a homunculus, but can't you control whether you want to read someone's head? Do I need tin-foil helmet?

I can control it somewhat. A lot of times it's easier not to. And the tin foil really doesn't help.

But if you don't like it, you don't like it. I'll keep it in mind.

::And keep reading but be more careful in using what he sees. If he's a "monster," he will be a monster.::

Just give me a better idea of what you're asking, got it?

::Snickers internally at the mental macro image, especially since he hates that actor.::

As for what Nagi looks like, which you said aloud, you may have been seeing too much yaoi fiction. For a lot of folks it's about personality and what they like sexually and less about whether they're small and cute. All of us in Schwarz are switchable on positions.

It just creeps me out, havin' somebody in my head.

I tend to judge a lot based on appearance. Which has worked against me on occasion. I mean you see some people and assume certain things.

Yeah, you have to be careful assuming too much just based on what a person looks like.

::Schu wants to comment on the mental macro so bad.::

Well, there have also been times when I was dead-on. Sometimes I was VERY right.
