Sup Sup! Costaaa Rica Here I come!!!
So - I won my proposal!!!!
But - not all of it - I guess the proposals were so competitive that they decided to award more people, which prevented them to fund everyone all the way.
The trip went something like this -
3 weeks in costa rica - $916 (Food + Room and Board)
Spanish lessons 2 hours for 2 weeks - $190
Application Fee - $350 (WTF IS THAT)
Airfare - $294
So that's like - $1750
And I was only awarded $1200
Don't get me wrong that is still a lot of friggin money, and I am totally grateful my proposal was bomb ass. But I feel kind of lost in my mind.
So, this is what I was thinking ( Honestly, I never wanted to go for 3 weeks, 2 Weeks is what I really wanted- I just didn't know if that seemed like to "short a period of time) that - I would go for 2 weeks instead... And this way I could work longer at FDA. and make more money.
So - then it would like this
2 - Weeks in C-R = 808
Spanish lessons = 190 (But the app. said they were free so if they were that would be tighttt)
App fee = 350
Airfare = 294
SO 1642 - I basically would have to pay 442 - and 242 if Spanish Lessons are Free.
And that wouldn't be bad - but would it be worth it?
I don't even know if I am "stuck" to everything I said in my proposal....
Plus - I would still have to pay for my renewed passport + immunizations and deal with visa shit.

I leave for South PADREEEEEE (gulf of mexico) tomorrow totalllllyyyy pumped....
