melody moved in with us yesterday! she took over breanna's old room. she also has a kitty, his name is booger (so cute!), but we haven't quite introduced him to the others yet. they've seen each other from afar, and they played under the door together, but its better to wait a few days and let them get used to each other's scents first. seeing them put their little paws under the door and bat at each other is the cutest thing ever! still getting everything situated, but its going well. we're having paul leary's birthday party here on saturday, so we want the house to look good for that. just need paul (too many pauls! talking about heather's ex this time) to get his huge ass tv out of here by the weekend and we'll be all set. that thing takes up half the wall, so once thats gone we'll have the perfect amount of room in the basement. i hawked my hair today haha. i had been contemplating it for a while, then just decided to go for it. the front is pretty much the same, kept the longest pieces to my chin, but the back is a double mohawk (not shaved down to the skin but really short) and it fans out really big at the top and looks kinda like kitty ears if i style it right. doing the color on wednesday, not sure exactly what to do but the shaved sides and middle are black and the hawks will be some bright colors. i was thinking about trying to make the top part colored to look like cat ears, but not sure how to go about it. if it works out well i think that would be the best thing ever.
