the prize in the cereal box. what a genius marketing concept. whoever thought that one up - GENIUS. i was thinking about that as a was eating my cereal (yes at this odd hour and yes without milk) out of the box just now. i guess just putting my hand in the box brought back some fond memories or something, lol. i remember being a kid, and picking out cereal based solely on which one had the best prize. and i'm sure many other kids did too.
and you had to get to the bottom before you could get the prize. parents would always try to make you eat it all before you could get the prize, because they didn't want you sticking your hands in the box and tainting all the cereal. but there's ways around that. ren and stimpy even had a skit about it. just pour all the cereal into a very large bowl, get the prize from the bottom, then pour all the cereal back into the box. "and no one will ever know!" and then they said "join us again for more of stimpy's breakfast tips, bye for now". yeah i really know ren and stimpy episodes that well. heather and i actually used to have that one memorized and would act it out. such an inappropriate show for kids, haha. but it was on nickelodeon!
why don't i ever go to bed at a reasonable time? i'm tired, but i just can't make myself go to bed. i have to do everything i can possibly think of doing before deciding to do so. like writing this very informative entry.
