i'm 27 now, akkk!
it's been a real long time since i've updated...again. can't seem to get into the habit of doing it regularly. some things that have happened, quickly:
genitorturers, nov 8 at sonar. had sooooo much fun. ran into so many people we know there. spent the majority of the night with rick, holly, and jason. collectively made several drunken idiots leave by having to threaten them. a drunk girl who spilled her drink all over all of us, we just yelled at her to get the fuck out of there until she did, there was a bit of pushing involved. then some drunk guy who decided to yell at holly and rick for no reason at all, rick made him leave haha. what's up with drunken idiots at shows, really? who comes to a concert to act like that? didn't ruin anything for us though, it was ridiculously fun. saw a couple that was a lame version of rick and holly. like in "harold and kumar" they see the "lame version of us" who get beat up immediately after being seen, exactly like that, without the beating up part. rick is compared in appearance to marilyn manson, makeup, clothing and all. the guy looked like brian warner, marilyn manson before the persona was invented. holly is a gorgeous girl who with black and blue hair, and her makeup and clothing always look perfectly put together. the girl had black and blue hair that was frizzy and her clothing wasn't too put together. really strange.
rachel and laurel's birthday/housewarming party on the 13th. they live by where richie lived when i first met him, not the nicest area but the apartment was very nice inside. they loved our presents of candles and "vodkas", and the card we made with them on it and "black kittens and vodkas". had a good time at the party even though we didn't know half the people we made it work. still haven't seen those pictures.
my yoga class ended and i'm still without one, and i won't make it long without yoga. now that i have done it i know i need it, it just makes me feel normal. it's hard to describe how, but it just puts my body back into alignment, it cracks all the joints that need cracking. tried a new one, and it just wasn't the same. i'll have to keep looking.
my mom and mr buck are settling on their new house later today. have spent a short amount of time at the apartment, and it's not bad, it's just not home. they can't wait for this to finally happen, and will be painting and installing new appliances before moving in.
thanksgiving we went to silver spring mining company because no one was able to host thanksgiving, my mom usually does and it wouldn't have worked in the apartment. it was actually really nice, and there weren't many of us there, the family was a bit split up this year but it's ok. went to see richie's family afterwards, his mom, stepdad and little sister are in town, which is nice, i hadn't seen them since they moved.
went home and richie's cousin dave, and my cousins breanna, steve, and breanna's boyfriend nolan came over. kind of a tradition we like to do with our cousins, after thanksgiving/my birthday celebration after thanksgiving dinner. we drank and smoked a bit, and exactly as it turned midnight, the first moments of my birthday, we got to watch pee-wee herman on conan o'brian! pee-wee has always been something that my cousins and i shared, we have fond memories of him when we were kids, we liked to play that we were in pee-wee's playhouse. so getting so see him, just as he was, was insanely awesome. he acted just like pee-wee always did, so hilarious. perfect way to start the day.
today, being black friday, i can't really do much for my birthday, but i don't really care. after my mom is done with settlement we are going out to dinner. sleeping in and getting to do whatever i want is definitely good enough for me!
