richie had to call jody again because no one ever called him back. jody was surprised to hear from him, because apparently he had talked to nick about the problem the day he talked to richie, and nick assured him that he would call richie back to sort it out. obviously that never happened. then richie got a call from nick, on friday, exactly one

Never trust a junkie. you're not being a good friend or doing the right thing. I've been where Richie is at and it's hard. the very best thing is for Richie to turn his back until Nick gets help....or forever.

I've known a lot of addicts who were good people. I know Nick as well

the fucked up part is, he DID get help. that's why we thought there was a chance. at this point what he's done is his problem and his alone. i could really care less what happens to him anymore. stealing from us is something he has never done. lying is one thing, and that's bad enough, but stealing is crossing a whole other line. you'd think dying and being revived would be enough to make a person value their life a little more. if that's not his rock bottom, i don't know what is. i'd be willing to help anyone who is willing to help themselves, but i'm not letting anyone take me down with them, and i'm certainly not going to let him do that to richie either.
