it's kind of ridiculous how sad the news of the receiving end of sirens breaking up made me. most of you probably have no idea who they are, but they mean a lot to me, and it's really sad to think that i'll never be able to see them together live again. they're only doing 2 more shows and they're far away and very soon :(

i'm also really stewing at the fact that i haven't been tattooed since september, and it's nearly impossible to get him to want to do it for me, even though he agreed to it and even *wanted* to do it. i'm really ready to go to the shop and just pay for it. i don't even care about the money he owes me (the tattoo is supposed to be compensation for that) anymore. it should not take a year and a half to get one tattoo finished. i understand that he works all day and doesn't always want to come home and tattoo again. i don't expect him to do it for me all the time. i just want a date, any date, for him to commit to. any way he wants to go about it, i'm ok with. i just want it worked on. i know that if he doesn't tell me a time in advance he's not going to just call me out of the blue one day and say "come over, i'm ready". it's just not going to happen. this is why i have to ask. and i never get any real answers. he acts like it's about the money. it's not. i didn't even want to involve money, hence why i asked him to do it when he's not busy at the shop, or after his scheduled time. it's about finishing something you started. i'm really sick of looking at a tattoo where the top part looks fantastic and the bottom looks unfinished. i should really be more of a priority to him than this, considering i'm his fiance's sister.

been trying to crack down on financial stuff, mainly what i need to do to refinance my house since i have a 7-year adjustable rate, meaning after the 7 years is up the interest rates could skyrocket. so i'm trying to get a fixed rate now, which shouldn't be a problem because my credit score is excellent and i've had a mortgage for 3 1/2 years. if you ever find yourself in a similar situation DO NOT go to lendingtree.com. they tried to scam me out of $600, and make me pay close to $7000 to refinance, all while making it look like they're giving me a great deal that i have to hurry up and lock in. oh yeah, and the woman straight up lied to me.

my mom got me a wedding planning book, and i've read the entire thing in the past 2 days. it's got sections in the back where you can write stuff in to make it more organized. basically, i've been completely clueless about anything concerning weddings, so this helped a lot. we're not planning on getting married for a while, but it's always good to start reading up early. and i need all the time i can get for ideas, since i've really never even given any thought to what type of wedding i would like. i'm starting to get a few very vague ideas though.

treos, rants
