it's been real busy around here but it's all good stuff. friday richie, dave, eric, and i went to see thursday (harhar we saw thursday on friday) at the ottobar. we met up with maia and anthony there. got there a little after 8 thinking parts would already be over but it had not yet even begun. crappy opening bands for hours and we were all getting hungry and drinking to pass the time. thursday didn't go on til 11, but it was so worth the wait. the whole place went crazy. it was sold out so it was packed, and the ottobar is small and the stage is low. we ended up standing to the side of the stage where they have the step you can stand on to see over everyone, and the view there was perfect. people were repeatedly running up on stage and jumping off into the crowd, some people even did something i can't even understand even though i witnessed it, they somehow instead of crowdsurfing they managed to run over the crowd and made it halfway back before being let down. i even saw a guy do a fucking cannonball, no exaggeration. everyone in the whole place was singing along to every word. the whole time i was just wishing for a video camera. they played for about an hour and did just about every song you would expect to hear. i've been listening to their live cd nonstop for the past week or so.

afterwards we knew that we had to take eric home to york, since he had to go to work at 6am. by the time we got food and got back home it was after 3am. we were exhausted but still in a great mood, so we smoked some weed and watched

about 10 times in a row, we couldn't stop laughing. then we watched the g.i.joe psas for a while and before we knew it, it was 4:30am so i had to go to sleep.

saturday night after work was another halloween party. i convinced richie and dave to come with heather and i to it. we got dressed up and everything. stayed there for about 15 minutes and it was BORING as hell, there was no music and the only thing going on was a few people watching "silent hill". we only knew like 3 people there so we waited til they went outside to smoke and snuck out. figured no one would notice for a while haha. felt kinda bad about it but we laughed. went back to our house and smoked some more and watched "knocked up" for the millionth time. that's also when heather decided she was a photographer and i was my character from halloween (drug addicted model), and we decided to do a "photo shoot" to make my costume more authentic. it was pretty fun, we got a kick out of ourselves. it was hard to keep a straight face for the pictures.

my dad went to vegas for his birthday, he just got back last night. while he was there he went skydiving! today he showed us pictures and told us more about it and we decided we HAVE to go there. so we wanna start planning to go there around this time next year. he didn't even pay a lot of money to go either, apparently the hotels are cheap because they make their money off of gambling, and a lot of the shows outside are free. he said there's enough to see that you could probably spend a month there and still not get bored. he got a video made of him and his brother skydiving and there's pictures too that are being sent to him. i can't wait to see that!

got my new loveseat delivered today, so we can finally get rid of that beat up old couch that my mom bought when i was in probably about 2nd grade. it's lasted quite a long time, and given us many memories, but i won't be sad to see it go. the cats might be sad though. i haven't figured out how to get rid of it yet and two of the cats are sleeping on the old couch (which i put in the dining room for now since that's the only place it'll fit), and one is on the new couch.

i have also decided for my birthday, richie and i are going to pittsburgh. they have a bunch of really cool museums ( http://www.carnegiemuseums.org/interior.php?pageID=36 ) there that are cheap and close to each other, and i've never seen them before. i'm gonna see dinosaurs and bodies and all kinds of really cool science related stuff!

thursday, museums, doo the doo doo, concerts, new stuff
