BOMBSHIZZLE (apparently)

Haven't updated in quite a while, so I thought I'd give it a go.

Ummm, what's happened since my last proper update?

Oh yeah, the prelims! Didn't do too well, but I was quite expecting that. At least I got passes - 57% for both Chemistry and Biology.

Went with Kirsty and Jeffrey to the Strathclyde open day for the science department. It was really good and I do quite want to go there to do Pharmacy. In the first lecture we got to kill a computer generated cat by 'injecting' it with a cocktail of different drugs of different strengths. It was fun although I really don't know anyone on the course apart from the one person who talked to me while we were given a tour of the buildings, but I can't remember his name.

Spent a wee while working on my science investigations. For Chemistry i'm calculating the effects of bacterial oxidation and thermodecomposition on the vitamin C content of orange juice. So there. For Biology i'm investigating the effect of various drugs - paracetamol, aspirin and caffeine - on the rate of decomposition of hydrogen peroxide by catalase. I haven't got very far with either and even managed to set my biology experiment on fire today, so thank god we've got while left to work on them!

Apart from that?

umm I guess Art counts as doing something. Not something productive, but something all the same. We had our folios evaluated by Miss Scullion so had to make a mad dash to find anything that could remotely count as a part of it. As it stands, I've to expect a C for my practical work, and B+ / A for my essay.

Went to Stu's on Saturday. Had lots of fun until, well, you all know what happened! ''Is there a problem, officer?'' has to be my quote of the night.

Going to Jo's party on Friday. Pure dressing up effort! Should be good, even though Lyndsay and Hannah totally STOLE my idea for a costume. Grr at them, haha!

Had an eventfully stroll up the road with Sandeep where I got to listen to her on the phone to some random guy. I love how ''ghetto'' Sandeep is even though she lives in INCHINNAN.

Sandeep quotes :

''...., homey''

''...., gangsta''

''Brand New!''

''bombshizzle!'' (hence the unusual update title)

Sandeep makes me laugh.

Also looking forward to.....PLACEBO!! 6th April, Carling Academy!
....................and.....Panic!At the Disco 21st April, Carling Academy. and shoosh, I don't care that you don't like them, I do.

If anyone is interested in taking part in the Erskine Music Festival for this year, whether you want to perform, promote or organise, come along to The Hut next to Bargarran Primary School at 7pm on Wednesday. The meeting should finish at around 8:30pm. everyone's welcome!

Has anyone heard the band 'Blind Guardian'? I have their EP on my computer and I quite love it even though there are only three songs.

i think this just about covers a proper update.
I might even do it again in another month or so, we'll see how interesting my life is till then. I wouldn't hold my breath!
