Tiger & Bunny: FRIED RICE! Ahem. I thought that the first half of last weeks ep was anti-climatic, the first half of this week's ep was a bit better but I still thought that they drew it out more than they should. Other than that I've got no complaints, I've been fangirling over Karina for the last few weeks and it's not gonna stop, she is awesome. I can't wait to see what's gonna happen next week. That is all.

No. 6: I haven't seen this weeks ep, but I doubt that I'm going to anytime soon. I'm officially jumping ship when it comes to this show. I had hoped that the show would pick up, but after ep 10 left me cold and unmoved (besides the increasing anger at Nezumi and his actions) I've decided that it's not worth it to keep watching. Maybe it's my penchant for ensembles but I would have gladly traded the fanservise and canon kissing for a bit more world building and more interesting characters.

Blue Exorcist/Ao no Exorcist: [ep1 -
http://www.animefreak.tv/watch/ao-no-exorcist-episode-1-online]New kid on the block, the manga's only been published for about two years and it's already gotten an anime made out of it (and only 22 eps in and it's already deviated from canon a bit).
What can I say about it, it's sorta like a mix between Fullmetal Alchemist, Supernatural and D.Gray-Man. DGM and SPN cause it's got a lot of religious (mainly Catholic) elements. These elements also get more or less mangled, but compared to SPN's infamous 'Hammer of the Gods' where they managed to insult every religion involved in the Shows history (an ep that I'll never accept as canon) it's not as bad as it could be, also, it's got shotguns. Just as FMA and SPN, the show also has a wonderful pair of brothers at the center of it all (Yukio is such an mix of Al and Sam that it's not even funny, but I may be projecting). More than that, it's got alot of the humor that FMA used to have, so it's not as dark as the other two shows mentioned so far at least I haven't read all of it yet so I don't know what'll happen.
What's this show about then? Well, Rin and Yukio are twins but while Yukio appears to be all human Rin is the son of Satan, yes really. This show is about brotherly bonding, the quest to become strong enough to kill Satan as well as make a few friends, to get good grades and make delicious food. So far, Rin is my favorite, son of Satan he may be but I still want nothing more than to pinch his cheeks. It is also incredibly pretty and I wonder how long they're gonna be able to keep that up, even the backgrounds are detailed!
From what I've seen on LJ, the fandom isn't that active and pretty much favors the manga over the show. Too bad, I love episode discussion posts.

Wolf's Rain: [ep1 -
http://www.animefreak.tv/watch/wolfs-rain-episode-1-english-dubbed-online-free ]
I watched the whole series over a course of three days with a one day break between day two and three. Then I watched parts of it again, and again. Then I looked up the soundtrack on youtube (I love it, it's got Japanese, English, French, Portuguese as well as Native American tracks, where else are you gonna find that?). Congratulations Wolf's Rain, you're now together with Nabari no Oh (Yoite!) one of two anime shows that's made me not only tear up, but cry. I can understand why there weren't a second season, the tale was finished but I still want to know more about those characters
What it's about: Like Tiger & Bunny, Wolf's Rain was a show in it's original form before it became a manga, (the manga apparently also differs from the show in a lot of aspects). It takes place in a distant future where the world is nearing it's end. One of the cornerstones in the show is that when the world ends, the Lunar flowers will show a road to Paradise, but only wolves will be able to find it. Thing is, Lunar flowers are extinct and on top of that, no one's seen any wolves in almost 200 years. Only they aren't all dead, they've just found a way to pass themselves off as human (mostly anyway).
What caught my interest was the characters more than the story and I was glad to see more character interaction and less eyebrow raising action (a giant flying Walrus, who came up with that?). It's also one of those shows where I prefer the dub to the sub.
If Crispin Freeman and Johnny Young Bosh are Tsume and Kiba, does that mean that Shizuo and Izaya from Durarara!! are secretly wolves searching for Paradise? how does Kari Wahlgren's Cher/Celty fit into this?
I should mention this though, eps 15-18 are recap eps that can pretty much be skipped. The reason for there to be four of them is because they were buyin themselves some time, the Bird Flu was going around and they had also had their budget cut, I'm guessing that things were probably a bit chaotic.
I haven't re-read all of this, so I hope I apologize for any typos/grammatical errors *is sleepy*
