bought two new movies a couple of days back; Eastern Promises and Jade Warrior.
They're very different from each-other in terms of theme and style (the first about the Russian mob and trafficing in Britain and the second a blend of ancient Chineese and present Finish culture) but after the first watch I was pleased to see that both movies surprised me and broke the template of how these kinds of films mostly play out.
Expect rewievs in the near future...
