I don't understand our relationship.
On one hand, a glimpse of your beauty brightens my day. Even in the overcast, drizzly days, a walk with you raises my spirits. I know that I can get through the week simply because you are in my life. At night, my soul is at rest because of you. I don't need home, I don't need my family. I know that you are always there, and that consistency gives me faith in this world.
However, all at the same time, you frustrate me to no end. If you were not in my life, my stress would be nonexistent. I wouldn't have to deal with the problems you throw at me nor the tests I go through for you. You always keep me in suspense for what may be coming next.
I know that you are worth it in the end, though so I will not give up on you. The opportunities you present are abundant enough to keep me coming back for more torture. You tear apart my heart, yet I will not let you go.
