Well, really the same layout with a different header image and different colors. >_> But still.
I'm actually pretty proud of the header image. Sanzo is a bitch (as we already knew) but you may not be aware that he's also a bitch to color. However, this was pretty fun to color. It's one of my favorite panels from the recent Saiyuki chapters because of it's expressiveness, if that makes any sense. I'll admit though that the main reason I enjoyed coloring it was to think of lulzy things to put in the speech bubble. "Vacation is over. Get back in the damned car!" beat out "It burns and not in the good way," "This is the worst acid trip ever," "I call horseshit," "Here I come to save the day," and "Oh shit I forgot the safe word." I might end up changing it to one of the last two, more than likely "safe word," because they make me cackle every time I see the banner. >_>
I have to say, though, one day Sanzo is just gonna snap and load everyone back up in the Jeep and just be like "fuck this fuck you guys you and your vacation can go to hell," and the last volume will be the extremely awkward car ride back with amusing interludes with Kougajii&Co., and, if we're lucky, the Mighty Zakuro. I've got this ending down, guys. I can feel it.
