Christmas List, etc.

While sitting in the Honors Lounge, I realized it's been almost a month since I posted an update. Oh, the humanity! The shame! How can I ever live with myself? However, as I was contemplating committing seppuku to spare my family the shame, the heavens opened up and a heavenly light shone down upon me. My way was clear. Alas, it is time that I repent.

All seriousness aside, though, I recently finished what was probably the best bullshitting I've done in a while. The paper was for my English Research and Methods class (read: criticism of Jane Eyre and Jean Rhys's Wide Sargasso Sea, which is an excellent book that I highly recommend reading sometime before you die) and was over vampirism, patriarchy, and Jane Eyre, more specifically how vampirism in Jane Eyre represents the "monstrosity" of patriarchy. I was able to use the word "plethora." I am more amused by that than I ought to be.

Also, I've been having a lot of fun participating in the daily_icon challenge. The object is to make 100 icons of a tv series/anime/band/etc. with a theme that is posted daily. It's very fun. My theme is Saiyuki. You can see my entries here.

I finished Fruits Basket. It was very cute. Ayame is my hero. I shall strive to be just like him. I guess that makes me kind of like Kakeru. >_>

And last but not least, my Christmas list! :D
01. Booze
02. Phoenix Wright: Attorney at Law to play while drinking booze
03. Saiyuki: Complete Seasons 1 and 2 to watch while drinking booze
04. A trip to Chichen Itza
05. A small European nation
06. Dracula's castle
07. Malibu Coconut Rum
08. University of Tennessee to win the SEC Championship title.... oh shit nevermind
09. Booze to wash away the pain of the SEC Championship game. Damnit, Ainge.

Note to self: start getting MTAC costumes together. Maybe I should consider going as Misato instead of Gendo what with all the booze references. But I've been practicing my indifferent look for Gendo. I dunno.
