Today I tried to compare two types on green tea with ginger. One was Myrtle Ginger and I didn't find the English name of the second one, but it should be be something like Ginger Fairytale.
Ingredients for the first: green tea, myrtle, citrus, ginger, lemongrass, orange, English daisy. And for the second one: green tea, ginger, orange peals, rose petals.
Myrtle Ginger has a light, slightly lemony taste. It reminded my mother of lemon balm.
Ginger Fairytale has a warmer, less distinguished taste and slightly darker colour. For me the taste is more likeable if it has cooled down a bit.
I asked for as many opinions as I could. One preferred the first, the other said the first is not drinkable, the third said they can't tell the difference. I, I just can't decide. I think I like the second if I feel like ginger tea, but the first if I want something different. I'd call this experiment a fail, because the point was to reduce the number of tea I have, but at least we got to drink the tea.
