Tuesday Morning...Lesigh.

So!  Tuesday Morning. Have to open at the job again by myself since the rest of the clerical staff will not be in till about 10:15am. The rest being all of two more clerical staff and a bunch of librarians. Sadly the librarians don't pull their weight when it comes outside of their job titles but they expect us to completely bend over backward for them. Look guys, if I'm bending over to take it up the ass, it would NOT be for a librarian.

Last line made you think, didn't it? LOL.

Anyways, I started a diet about a week and a half ago, the usual "cut down on the bad stuff, switch out the sugar for water, try to stay within a certain amount of calories, and cut out the alcohol" kinda diet. And then my friend told me about this diet she had tried for a little bit, like a cleansing diet. So I was like, "Ok, let's try it." Now this chick was never heavy. But she felt like she needed to go on this cleansing thing, she has skin issues, rashes, all that. So her nutritionist/dietician, whatever it is, tells her of this thing where she cuts out meat, dairy, alcohol, caffeine and preservatives for a week. And according to her she can lose up to a pound a day. So I have to lose 25 pounds before I go on vacation (which isn't going to happen but hell, I can try. I tend to lose weight easily enough after I've been bad but I can't seem to go lower than a certain weight). Now according to this cleansing thing she did, she started losing a pound a day halfway through the week. And then after her week was up she got off it but continued to lose the weight because the week of eating all that healthy stuff tends to shrink your appetite. So this is my third day into it and I'm pretty shocked to say that I'm still alive and still kinda going strong. Not that I don't miss the occasional chocolate sweet but I'm ok. All in all, in the three weeks (the one week she did the diet and the following two weeks where she went back to eating normal but in smaller portions) she lost 13 pounds. Now that is really not bad. I figure I can try it, see how it goes. I've been on this website religiously, before and during this ordeal, because I can keep count of all my calories and stuff, it really is kinda fun to keep track. And fiber is my friend. So here's hoping it works.

Alcohol is bad. But once I'm on vacation, I don't think I'll care too much, LOL.

Anyways, let me hop back to it. Need to plan out a natural healthy lunch while at work. Shyeah, right.
