Inception.

So I went to see this movie over the weekend. Went to PA first, visited with the house, hung out until Sunday and then started making my way back with the bf and my bro and his gf. My bro texted me on Friday telling me the good reviews the movie got so I basically yelled through text that I have been dying to see this movie since first hearing about it a while ago. Anyways, we decided we would go on Sunday to see it.

This movie...

...is a complete mindfuck. I was seriously dazzled by all the stuff going on in it and while I love a good shoot-'em-up fighting mindless blockbuster, it's the ones that make you think at the end that really do it for me. So I was seriously entertained throughout, it was such a surreal movie, but the end with the spinning top, the entire audience held their breath waiting for it to stop. And when the screen cut to black, everyone literally released that breath in unison. It was the funniest, strangest thing. A bit like being punched in the gut, we were all held by this one scene. And it was great, to see a movie with a bunch of people who were just as into the movie as I was.

Only problem is, now I can't get that ending out of my head. At all. And every time the wife showed up in the flick, I freaked out. She was, by far, the scariest thing in the movie for me. Every time she showed up I knew something was about to go to hell. And every time she was on screen, I always expected her face to contort somehow.

I honestly don't know what to believe about the movie so don't expect any sort of intelligent ramblings about it. All I do know is that for two and a half hours, I was completely engrossed in this movie and have been thinking about the ending since.
