Autumn Is In Full Swing!
So...I'm freezing my hands off. I'm sitting here, in the workroom, with my regular clothes and my vest and the AC is still ON. We can't do anything to turn it off, only Maintenance can come in and do it and they won't be in today. So...I'm freezing my hands off. Still.
On the upside, I LOVE AUTUMN! So says the kanji on my arm! Or rather, it just says Aki which translates to Autumn. Either way, September is the warm Autumn and October is the cold Autumn to me. October is also the month of my birth, hence my IMMENSE love for fall and the last four months of the year. This time of year is when everything starts speeding up while getting colder. It leads to trick or treating, falling leaves, birthdays (no, not just mine, LOL but everyone that I seem to care about!!), turkey with family and friends and then gift-giving! And then New Years ends it all. Usually, because of this, I am not a fan of New Years. New Years leads to January cold and snow and I just don't dig that.
Anyways, life is CRAZY right now. We're down to a house and now we have to get all the paperwork in order to make an offer. It's a foreclosure and has been empty for a few months so I'm hoping if we make a low offer that the bank will go for it seeing as how I figure they'd prefer to have the property sold than sitting with them doing nothing. It was a very pretty house and across the street from a high school so we had jokes on that for a bit. But this really is where it's going to start picking up and I can't wait! I have the best credit out of my brother and me so it's going under my name but the entire family is going to be paying the mortgage every month. I really hope it goes well.
Beyond that, life is very very busy and speeding right by me. I'm 29 this year. In three weeks in fact. I feel old. :)
