Ty, ty, ty, lol. I actually had my brother comfort me yesterday after I told him what had happened. We're not very affectionate in the physical sense but he reminded me that mom is mom and that she's the one person I never really have to worry about. And that basically is like a hug to me too. Ty.^_^

I know this doesn't help, but your Mom sounds like a manipulative twit. At least in this circumstance.

Obviously, if there was a mistake, the issue is about rectifying it. But from what I'm hearing, it sounds as if she's projecting the blame as opposed to reasonably examining a solution.

If she were anyone other than your mom, I'd say this was a big red flag, and I'd tell you to drop her like fifth period French. But she's not your frat house room mate, so that's hardly productive.

LOL fifth period french. I'm going to ask her if she speaks French and confuse the hell out of her today, hahahaha! I think she's stressed too because she has to go to Mexico with my dad next month and is in a rush to buy stuff to take with her. I'm just going to return it for her and not take it to heart. I really have been in a hellish/sad mood for the last week so maybe I also just couldn't take it. I mean, she's mom after all. Love her to bits. :)

Is this… usual behaviour for her? I mean, if she's going to be such a - pardon the word, I know she's your mum - cow to you just because you did her a favour and she made the mistake of not looking through the cat. properly, why doesn't she just do things herself? Why did she even get you to buy it for her? Aside from the fact that she seems to like blaming you for stuff.

Well, mom doesn't know how to use the internet, hence asking me to do it. But no, she's not usually like that. And I think that's why I burst into tears. She really is my best friend. I love her with all my heart. I just don't think at the time I was able to take her attitude because I've been in a rut the last few days so it just kinda killed me. I'm going to look up how to return it today. We don't usually apologize if we do something wrong to each other, just blow it off, but I have a feeling she'll be extra nice today, lol. Ty. :) I actually do feel better today.

It's likely you were crying out of shock and hurt, really, if your mum isn't usually like that. My mum nags me a lot but only occasionally is she properly nasty, and that always gets me. If you don't mind me saying so, your mum reacted pretty badly to you doing her a favour! O_O

Yeah mom was a bit cracky that day, lol. But the next day she was extra nice. I think she got that she was a bit...weird the day before. She's my best friend, my mom, and I think I was just having a rough time and couldn't deal with her anger on top of it.
