Minor Accident...
So...throughout Brooklyn today, all libraries will be closed because of Staff Development Day. Meaning, if you're late on a book, you won't be able to drop it off to be checked in today. Alas. On the upside, the branches are closed. On the downside, we all have to go to Brooklyn College for a day of classes and seeing people we spend trying to get away from unless we actually like them.
On the major downside, I fell on the ice coming out of the train station before heading out and messed up my ankle. So I won't be going to All Staff Day (which is mandatory) but I won't be going to a doctor either (y'know? I actually put a capital d to "doctor" back there, lmao!) because I just can't walk around on this ankle at the moment. So either way I'm basically screwed because I can't NOT go to this staff development thing and if I fall sick I need a doctor's note.
Ah well.
Basically this is giving me a painful day off which is why I'm on my computer. The world at your fingertips. Now all I need is a male servant in a loin cloth and some grapes.
