Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam, episode 3

I still have no idea what to say about episode 2, so here is my episode 3 review.

First, I really like this character centric episode. It's a nice break from the action, and it lets us get to know the characters better.

I find the direction they are taking the antagonist in this time very interesting. It's a very welcome change to see them as human rather than have another complete monster like Delphine was.
Though as I've said elsewhere, I get the feeling that the fleet commanders are using Sara's youth, and naivety for their own aims. the hints we get seem to imply that Sara's mother, the previous Augusta, who's name I can't remember how to spell, wished for a peaceful solution to the problems caused by the returning exiles.

Mostly this episode made me even more curious about the back story of the characters, and the history of the LE universe. I hope to find out what's become of Liliana soon, and I'm very excited to see that Tatiana, and Alister might be returning soon.

I do have to add that the memorial to those who fell at the end will probably be one of my favorite scenes in the series.
