In related news...
The show tonight went really nicely, I think. It was fun to get dressed up, even though my skin is pissed about the makeup now. And seeing everyone else in their various levels of costume was awesome. Got to see Savannah and Diana, both cute as ever, that's always great. Lovely arts! A string quartet played some of my dad's original music, as well as some more well known pieces. :) Lots of fun, overall.
My papercraft buggies seem to be pretty successful! Savannah even decided to buy one! :D *flattered and excited!!* I'll have to make more. I did have a handful of others planned that I didn't get to, so I'll have to try for those next (as well as making another death's head hawk moth, since I am particularly happy with how he turned out!) Should be fun to pose them differently, too - their wings can be in various degrees of splay.
I suppose this is actually probably a perfect thing to concentrate on for Christmas, since I want to make more anyway... (and since I have no money to buy people things and all...)
