so, light enters through your pupil, yeah? and theres a thin film over the pupil, do you have bacteria on there? or some kind of other small microbial stuff.

i was lying outside, looking at those little flies flying around (damn those flies, oh how they annoy me), and i noticed small white specks floating around, im pretty sure they werent up with the flies, so i assume they were something that was on my eyes (or eye, but probably eyes, what with me having two, and doing the old 'close one eye, then t'other' test to determine whether these white specks were visible through both, and funnily enough, they were --**HOOVER SONG!!!** (sorry, just came on ye olde media player, im sure ash shall appreciate)-- although there were less on the left than the right, odd, no?)

so yeah, what with the flying and the speckling, i was just wondering if any of you were horrifically biologically oriented and as such knew if what i saw was small bacterium, of sorts, or perhaps just a muddling of my retinal cones and producing an oddly hypnotising effect which, by all accounts, was nothing more than a mis-judging of the available light, perhaps a misfiring of some of those small cones which my retina is so fond of.

any ideas?
