Our National Anthem

O Canada!
Land of our forefathers,
Thy brow is wreathed with a glorious garland of flowers.
As in thy arm ready to wield the sword,
So also is it ready to carry the cross.
Thy history is an epic of the most brilliant exploits.
Thy valour steeped in faith
Will protect our homes and our rights
Will protect our homes and our rights.

That is the Canadian National Anthem, translated from French to English.  kueidan prefers this version to the English version of the national anthem.  I think she may have something, but it may also be that 'new thing' feel to it.  It seems older than our national anthem.  Though I disagree with her -- the English version is not "insipid".
