Gelato Gelati

OK so I picked offsuit up early as I am on 500 starts thus I finish at 1545.
I check the daily newsfeeds for the department where I work at 500 and then 530 and then 600. and advise the sec if any thing needs to be alerted higher up the chain. Really interesting stuff in the papers on Health technology. SO... with my level of curiosity it works well. I get paid to satisfy my curiosity :)

Any way this is really about Gelati and Gelato. Offsuit and I decided to get gelato. After a discussion with the nice gelato man about the merit of chocolate versus vanilla as a compliment to any other flavour. We concluded that vanilla went with any other dessert but their chocolate went with any other of their gelati.

I must admit to being a bit foggy brained by the time I was buying the gelato so things that seem funny to me may not to the rest. But is Pure Gelato different from Gelati. Gelati being available in the Canberra centre in the ..well...middle of Canberra.

Is gelati "impure" gelato and how does one make it impure. I was having cherry so we wondered if the cherries were under aged?

I have however decided for my 38th which occurs in the nice hot weather of February to have a gelato tasting party! A nice adult thing to do :)

Anyway I found that it is a plural versus singular so one should say getting gelati when referring to it for the whole family or many scoops and gelato if just getting a scoop.

On top of that the shop had a sign "Get one eyebrow waxed - Get another free."

Now this is where my sleep deprived brain took a left turn. You would usually only get one eyebrow waxed? WTF?
and if you have a mono brow does that mean you can come back for another wax latter?

Ahh the English language ambiguous on a good day and confounding on a bad one.
