I have Sunday and Monday to finish my dragon scales, and then need to decide if I should get postcards printed for Arisia, to try selling. Would enough people buy a postcard for $1 (or four for $3) to make it worthwhile? I can get 100 cards for $20 at Staples, and they'd even have a UV coating (teh awesome), but I'm assuming they'd all have to be ( Read more... )

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean that there were participant overlaps, but audience interest overlaps. I was indicating that I thought it was poorly planned to schedule them at the same time.
Especially for the art panels. There are only three "Art" panels for the whole weekend (not including the AGOH spots). And as an artist, I am interested in them. I would, for example, like to learn both how to "market my work" and "make a living", two closely related things. Having these two panels at the same time means I, and other people who are interested, will miss one of the only three that are happening. [...]"
