I haven't been doing much for the past couple of weeks, except for sitting around and waiting for school to end. I know it sounds horrible, but come on, that's what everyone's really doing - they just don't know it yet.
Major events I consider blogworthy:
1. CATI GOT INTO LEWIS AND CLARK. Holy, holy, holy shit I know. This is amazing. 5.52 miles away from Reed! 16 minutes by car! 41 minutes by eco-friendly bike! Now all I'm waiting for is her to decide to go there was she hears from somewhere I would rather not name. It burns my ears. And my heart. :(
2. Tashi and I attended the third day of Langerado. It was a lot of fun. Highlights include: Cat power, Explosions In The Sky, and Girl Talk! However, of the overall experience, what had the greatest impact was bumming around with thousands of hippies that didn't give a shit about anything. Except weed.
I've adopted some of their dance moves. I've also have been listening to a lot of grateful dead and have been reading up on the benefits of hemp. It takes 1/4 lb. to make one cotton T-shirt.
It's been raining a lot. It'sraining right now. I thought I hated it at first, but the sounds and smells are nice. Much better than the Sharper Image sound soother, although its "foghorn" is one of my favorite sounds ever.
