Reading/Feeding Frenzy
So on the off chance that this may make me sound lame.. Oh Wait, I don't care. That's right :) I am already a camel.. through magical ways of livejournal.
Since I have been unemployed, due to our wonderful economy, I had to find some way to occupy my time that does not involve stressing over a way way dead relationship. Or guys. Or whatever. I started reading again.. and I mean a lot. like a book per day. Well not that much, but you know what I mean. Or at least I know what I mean.
It all started with my friend sending me book one and two of that teenage girl fantasy book, Twilight. ANd I must admit, I rushed to the library to get the third and fourth.. which I am still on the waitlist for the third one. It suprisingly enraptured me. Of course I always had an affinity /interest in vampire stuff.. so I shouldn't be so surprised. I then read a couple books in between, and then started on ANOTHER vampire series.. by Charlaine Harris.. they made a tv show out of it, called trueblood... but i have not seen it. It's pretty good, as far as i can tell. Although I did not start from the beginning of the series, so there is a lot of information missing, but i figure Ill catch up eventually.. what else am I going to do?
If you have time to kill I would suggest both series.. Anne Rice is next.. Ya know before she turned neo catholic crazy.
