Writing Updates ~ Spuffy, Chlex, HP Verse
I haven't posted the writing update notes here on LJ this week, but I have been writing off and on since my last post. I had company in from out of state for the week. So, I didn't have as much actual computer time.
I have the Living For Love (Spuffy, Revenge For Love Sequel) Chapter 12 almost finished. I need to polish off a couple things and add one section to explain Buffy and Dalton's telepathic link more clearly for anyone that questioned it.
I am also polishing up a chapter of Duty or Destiny (Spuffy) and Twists of Fate (Spuffy). I'd like to get a bit more written for the next chapters before posting this, but I might post these chapters as soon as the coming week.
My Chlex fans will be happy to know that I'm also writing some for that couple. The muse has been a bit all over the place. I'm trying to keep the muse happy. So, where it leads for the day, that is what I write for. I have two things on the Chlex (Smallville) front. One is the final part of the Fragile Triology that will be called Fragile Bodies. The first one was a Fragile Scene Rewrite/Add-On. The second part of the trilogy was Fragile Hearts (a multi-chaptered story). So, anyways, I've written more for the first chapter of Fragile Bodies. I also have more of it outlined on how I need it to get to where I want the plot to go. It is a Season 5 story, for anyone that doesn't know it. I have it posted at naughty-seduction.net right now.
The second Chlex story that I am writing for is an alternate "Reckoning" story. I had pitched this story to my great friend Esther a long time ago, and she seemed eager to see it written. Well, it's a long time coming, but it is being written now more actively. The premise is this .... Jor-El still takes the day back the first time Lana dies. When the day is redoing itself, events are a bit more changed. Chloe, knowing how hard Lex must be taking the loss (and hoping that he doesn't go in deeper and darker now that he's lost), decides to head towards the Luthor mansion about the time that Lana is heading back from the Luthor mansion. It is actually Chloe and Lana that have the accident with each other. Lex arrives on scene, and he has to make a choice ... who to save ... Chloe or Lana. Now, as this is a Chlex story, he will save Chloe. I will show the reasons as sound, the why's and what for's, etc. Please let me know if you have any interest in reading this story, or if you have any plot ideas nibbling that you'd like seen in it.
Another note is that I will be adding sections to Hearts of Twilight for the various other fandoms that I've written for. I had wanted to buy individual domains for each fandom, but it really is getting crazy expensive to keep them all paid for. HeartsOfTwillight.net will still be the main place for all of my Spuffy Stories. I might just rework a couple of the lead in pages to direct people off to where my Chlex (Smallville) and Harry Potterverse (LM/HG, DM/HG, SS/HG, etc) stories will be on the site. I will be updating many things throughout the site including graphics, outdated links, and more once I get into it's redesign.
I have other various paragraphs that I've written for my HP stories (Stages of Love and PUrsuit of Happiness), but they aren't full enough, cohesive chapters for me to consider them ready. I have a lot mapped out with those of where I want it to go, but I want to make sure everything is perfectly believable for the changed events post war (Pursuit of Happiness) and 4th book (Stages of Love)
Whew, this ended up being a long post, but I wanted to update you all on where things stand. I didn't want you guys to think that I hadn't written anything this week since I hadn't posted a note here.
