My psp9 died on me. I have tracers all over my screen from Brad's high tech computer game. I tried to uninstall his game and repair my program, didn't work. I tried to take the game out of the computer disc drive, and the whole computer shut down, came back on and said it had recovered from a serious error. Two suggestions...

#1. If you run windows xp (or even possibly 98/2000/ME)os, and can still turn on your computer, go to Start Menu>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore, this will give you an option to rest your computer back to a previous date. Select a highlighted(backed up) date before Brad installed his video game(if he did so recently, if not, set it back a couple of months to a period in time when it was working well). You'll lose any programs that you installed since the "go back" date, but the image/document files on your computer should stay intact.

#2. If the above doesn't work, and you have the recovery disk(s) that came with your computer try that. It'll be a total loss of you data, but if it works you won't have to pay for computer repairs.

#3. If neither of those work, you can take it to Best Buy's Geek Squad. I know money is an issue, but for $59 they can tell you exactly what the problem is(and if they're cool and it's a minor issue, they'll fix it for you without an extra fee), so at least it wouldn't be extremely expensive to get the problem figured out initially. http://www.geeksquad.com/services/detail.aspx?id=477 . They wouldn't really be my #1 route for technical support, but they're inexpensive compared to a lot of other places, and there are enough best buys across the country that they're easy to locate usually.

Good luck.
