1) There was some problems during pregnancy because of Steve's super-serum DNA, and he was born premature. He bulked up damn fast, and was dubbed the little butter ball.
2) He developed a fascination with projectiles somewhere in his teens, Darcy blames Clint. Even more so after she found Andy decapitating an alien with Steve's shield.
3) He once stole a police horse and rode threw midtown traffic wielding a lamp post, before he tackled a rogue AI villain who was attempting to destroy the Empire State building.
