Room 530, Friday Evening
Elle was... conflicted, she supposed was a good way to put it. It felt strange to be packing up her side of the room, but it didn't feel like the ending she'd expected it to feel like. Maybe that was because she wasn't leaving, just moving into town. Or maybe it was because her life had changed, because she'd lost her place in the new life she'd made for herself with Cassidy and Cassidy's world. Whatever. It wasn't going to help her any if she dwelled on it.
Not when she still had pretty much everything to pack. But it wouldn't take her long, given her channeling emotion into packing. She was good at avoidance, always had been. She'd never had to deal with the reality of things before during her time with her father, so why should she start dealing with it now?
She hummed under her breath as she packed books into a box.
