So today I went to a wicked awesome talk by Jason Evert. It was about chastity. A bunch of u r prob gonna stop reading right there but that's ok. If you went to it, I guarantee it would change at least some things you think.
I was already sure about waiting til I'm married to have sex but this just reassured that so much. I love going to religious stuff like this that make me feel so much better about being Christian.
He mentioned so many things I didn't know. Like how common HPV is (Human pappiloma virus) and how so many people don't even know they have it. And he told some wicked awesome stories. One was about a girl who when she was 2 her dad left her and it was hard for to like trust guys and stuff and when she was 15 she met this guy and he wanted to have sex so she did. She regretted it then when she was 17 she had sex with this other guy. And eventually he started to abuse her. She finally realized she wanted to start over afte she went to a chastity talk. She wrote a letter to her "future husband" and whenever she would find herslef in weird situations she'd write more letters and she made a huge list of what she wanted in a husband. All together she ended up writing 61 letters and Jason Evert knew so much about the story cuz she gave the letters to him. They're married now and have a baby. Anyways, he tells the story way better.
I really want this guy to come to BSC and SHS. I think like it should be a requirement to life that everyone hears this talk hahhaha. No but really I'm gonna work on getting him there.
