(no subject)
Ended up getting quite the sunburn at the beach and was ridiculed more than was necessary by the co-workers but oh well, it serves me right 'cause I forgot to put sunscreen on for like an hour or two, yesss. Today is my last day at work and last night in the crapartment I live in, I'll be back in Atlanta tomorrow which I'm excited about even though most of ya'll won't be there, boo.
Last night was soooo much fun though! I've gotten into tasting different kinds of beers here since I have more access/ no parentals watching my every move. And so as a going away present one of my friends here went to Whole Foods and got two make-your-own six-packs of beer with all sorts of foreign and rare beers and we had a mini beer tasting! It was so much fun she and my roomies just sat around sipping on 'em picking out which ones we liked best (mine was a chocolate-stout one that had a funny name I can't remember off the top of my head) among the ones whose names I do recall we had... carlsberg(dutch perhaps?), flying dog, tarrapin, krons-something (german I think), the one I liked alot, bass, sam adams light( reaaaally good for a light beer), a raspberry wheat brew, dos equis (which I'd had before and adore), sierra nevada pale ale (another classic I knew I liked), I can't remember the other one, oh! it was yueling yueling, a cheaper one but still pretty good. Just sat around and drank/talked/ ate in INSANE amount of chips and salsa. Good times.
Tonight I have to finish packing and prepare for my long drive home tomorrow morning, I was a little sad about leaving before, but after yesterday at work, I'm definitely ready. It was the worst day I've ever had at work...the guys didn't help any at all b/c I'm usually (read: always) chipper at work, but kinda broke down at the end of the shift. I was yelled at on the phone by a lady, squirted in the head with a hose (twice!), stubbed my toe, was getting bitten by mosquitoes like I was freaking all you can eat buffet....lots of little things that added up to make my day pretty awful. But it's better now! :)
Jack Johnson concert tonight that I am dying to go to, but CAN'T because of stupid packing. sad face.
