Happy Spring!
Yesterday was the Spring Equinox. I hope that all of you had the chance to appreciate the coming of spring in some fashion, although I know it's always so beautiful and green in California.
I colored eggs with my class using red cabbage, which actually looks purple and turns the eggs blue for some strange reason. Later that night I had an indoor picnic because it was too cold to be outside. And then as if winter wanted to make one last hurrah, it snowed several inches over the night. But the birds are back, and the trees are budding. So spring is coming...
