I want to do bad things with you
I'm really sorry Al for making you watch all of the True Blood season 1 episodes. At least it's better than Twilight. Slightly. But you have to admit, the theme song is pretty good. It's gotten me into this whole southern bluesy-rock kick right now, like "Bad Things" by Jace Everett, and "Bones" by Little Big Town.
I accepted a job back at camp (the one that I was really kind of hoping they wouldn't offer) but I don't want to NOT work, ya know? It will keep me out of the house and outdoors hanging out with the day campers for the rest of the summer, and I'll have some nights off. Listen to me; trying to justify it in my own head. But I need to keep the income flowing, and maybe going back will light a fire under my butt to start looking seriously for a more permanent job.
My birthday came and went, and I wanted it to be very laid back, which it was. I got a bunch of camping stuff that's sitting, all packed, at the top of my staircase right now, and I NEED TO USE IT! SOON! I don't want it to sit all summer collecting dust, like I'm some sort of paranoid "the end of the world is coming and we should all be prepared!" type of person. (in my head Al is saying 'but that IS you Negative Nelly') For some reason I keep thinking I don't have allllll summer to do the things I want.
God I love the cover of "In Your Eyes" by Jeffrey Gaines. It gives me chills. (Can you tell I'm downloading iTunes music right now? Al you are getting an awesome mix cd next time I see you.)
