something funny I can't remember
Last night was my show, and it went really well. I was so nervous, though--I introduced the opening comic, and I'm shit at public speaking. I can get up in front of small crowds, but not THAT many people! And guess what--I tripped on stage! I wonder why I'm not mortified about that.
Nikki was hilarious, and she was so nice. I loved working with her. And weird coincidence: she knows Arvin Mitchell AND Mike Birbiglia, the two comedians coming this semester. Doug was great too, and he stayed after the show to sign autographs for everyone. I love celebs who do that.
And then the afterparty! It was fun, but I was SO tired. I got three hours of sleep last night, since I took Doug and Nikki to the airport at quarter to 7 this morning. When I got home, I slept for five hours!
So all in all, it was a good time. PB is really hard work, but it's times like this that make me happy I joined.
