Wedding Music

Hello my name is Tara, and at some point in the past couple of days I have become Emotional Bride. Some of it is warranted (thinking about the tribute to my Gramma and Carl's Gramps, who both passed this year, and who both loved us like mad, for example) and some? I am just crazy, I think. For example, I think I'm going to walk down the 'aisle' (read: garden path) to the instrumental song "Comptine D'un Autre Ete: L'apres Midi" from the Amelie soundtrack. Whenever I put it on I get all teary and I think "Uh oh. There may not be enough waterproof makeup in the world to keep me from looking a wreck on my wedding day."

SO, speaking of music---what are songs you love? For weddings. For dancing. For geeking out to. I love music, but alas, I seem to love MELLOW, MELLOW, MELLOW music above all, so not a hell of a lot is translating to Awesome Wedding Playlist. Ideas? Anyone? Anyone??

Also, no idea what the first dance will be yet. Le sigh.
