The reasons why

Apr 22, 2009 15:16

Here in are my personal thoughts and opinions in regards to the event leading up to my resignation, there is a lot of conjecture and speculation contained.

As many people have seen there have been issues developing over the last while in the LT. These are many and varied but I have throughout the time tried my hardest to keep peoples morale up and to work in the systems that we have in place in the LT.

Unfortunately this has led to some conflict between Chris and myself. I have to say that until this point I was pro Chris, I realised that he made some glorious blunders but then he was new to the job and its a fairly big role to take on. I admit to joining in on the occasional chris bashing session but only with people that started the conversation and never with anyone from outside the LT staff base.

Chris has decided that as punishment for this he wants to have me removed as a senior ref. Which is the back door to firing me as I am sure that he realises that I either need to beg for permission to continue as a senior ref or quit, since I am not liable to beg then I was left with no other option but to stand down.

This has been building up for some time now and I feel that I have spent enough blood sweat and tears, literally all 3, in getting the LT to the point its at and trying to keep it at the top of its game. Alas the helm is not well controlled and therefore things are slipping. A position had to be created so that the different departments could communicate with each other through a moderator because they wouldn't work with each other. This is caused by too many egos.

I thought about going back to being a player but decided that I've worked hard enough to line a number of peoples pockets in regard to this organisation and will not actually hand my money over to them to line them that way.

See you all at Maelstrom or can I recommend www.outcastlrp.com

Take care all
