The UK's Soil Association just had its annual conference a few weeks ago. They promote "sustainable, organic farming" and "champion human health". Here's a link to some podcasts from the conference. There were a couple of major "Peak Oil" names there as speakers (Richard Heinberg and Dr. Colin Campbell, for instance). Dr. Vandana Shiva, an environmentalist and philosopher (amongst other things), also spoke at the conference, delivering the closing address.
I haven't listened to all of the podcasts. I think that Jeremy Leggett's piece mentions organic animal husbandry a few times, though, so others may. The focus, however, seems to be on the process surrounding growing plants for food and all that it entails from the farm to the consumer's table.
