le sigh
so, i'm back in San Jose. I forgot my pillow back home, so i had to go out and get a new one. Sooooo i drive to bed bath and beyond, get a pillow. then stop at fry's for a cable for the tv. Then I debate if i should run to the market or just wait on that...
I decide to go to the market. I do my shopping, head out to my car, put groceries in my trunk, and put the cart in those little things you leave your carts in. I get back in the car, and drive back to my apartment. As i'm pulling into the parking garage, i went to reach for my purse for my access card to let me in.
Purse not there.
Hmm...i pull back, check the trunk and see if i put it in there by accident.
Noooope.
Crap...must have left it in the shopping cart >_<
so i drive back to Safeway, and see the cart right where i left it, with no purse. i see an employee collecting carts, and ask if he's seen a beige-ish purse. he shrugs and gives me a blank look. Ooookay..I ask him if the store has a lost and found or who i should talk to. He shrugs and again gives me a blank look. So i go in the store, and go up to one of the counters and ask the lady if someone brought in a purse they found in a shopping cart. No purse. There's a wells fargo in the market, so i go over and ask them if maybe someone brought the purse there since i had wells fargo bank and credit card.
No one brought anything. So i ask the lady what i should do about my cards being taken. she gave me a number to call. before i leave, i ask if i can use their phone to call my mommy~
I call mom, explain to her what happened, and she said she'll call verizon to suspend the phone, and 76 for my gas card. after i hang up with mom, i ask the wells fargo lady if i can get some money out of my account just so i can have some cash, and she lets me do so.
I ask the lady at the counter again if anyone brought it in while @was with the bank teller, but no purse. I leave my name and mom's name, work number, and home number in case someoen finds it and I leave, checking bushes and looking around the parking lot to maybe see if someone just took the little bit of money from my wallet and tossed the purse somewhere.
I drive back to school, park in the street cause i can't get into the parking garage, and get in my building when somenoe else used their card, and went to the second floor to see about getting a new access card. They give me a pink slip to fill out, and gotta go downstairs and have so-and-so sign, then come back up and turn it in at nearby window. I get it signed, and go back upstairs and wait in the line the guy told me to. I wait for about 45 mins in a line of three people ~_~ finally the guy comes up to me and says i can just turn the slip in to him, and then pay for new card when it's ready for me to pick it up, and he says he'll let me back into the apartment. i ask if he can let me into the parking garage so my cars not sitting in the street, he says sure.
I park my car in the garage, go upstairs into my apartment, and no ones home. I sit in my room, and try and use the phone on my roommate's fax machine, but it keeps saying w/e number i use is invalid. I check online @wellsfargo to check my accoutn activity, and whoever has my purse already made a purchase for just over $19 with my debit card. ; ; I check my email to see if mom emailed me, and she did saying she called verizon. And with the contract we got with my and my bro's phone, we were due for a phone upgrade anyway, so i can go into a verizon and just get a new one whenever i can for no charge.
I hear one of my suitmates come inside, so i go out and ask if i can use her phone.
I call the number the wellsfargo lady gave me, and i get a nice lady and explain my situation. she put a hold on my bank card and checking account, and gives me a validation number that i have to take into one of their branches and reactivate my account to a diff account. I also tell her i had a credit card for wells fargo taken, and she transfers me to someone for that. So the guy i get for my credit card said he's cancelling my credit card, and gonna send me a new one and such.
Now lets see. that takes care of my checking and stuff..now gotta find out what to do about my license. i call DMV and get a recording and follow all the prompts. I guess i gotta go in to the DMV (which was mapquested thanks to Kelson21 <33 and is kinda down the street) and get a new license, and the recording also said they recommend filing a police report for stolen licenses. Uuuugh.
Imma do all that tomorrow. And get a new school ID card..Right now I'm tired and gonna go take a nap ~_~
/sigh I liked that purse, was cute :( and my keychains and that cute purple bell with a pig on it all gone T_T I liked that bell...made finding my keys so much easier ; ;
