Meriken →
thebestnation"Meeting yourself is kind of weird, isn't it?"
♠ ♣ ♦ ♥
Bri-tan cares dearly for the nation. Having raised her from birth, Meriken is the one daughter she--once--loved the most. Being the sort of nation to reflect on the past, she always finds herself heartbroken to remember the young nation who once returned the love. Now the relationship is a lot more... sisterly. She finds Meriken to be completely outrageous nearly 100% of the time, and fool, and one of her closest allies. She worries for Meriken like a mother, and does what she can to help. Mayfield has helped improve relations.
Roshia →
silno_pyanstvo"Was not hiding. Never hides."
♠ ♣ ♦ ♥
Rooosshhhiiiaaa Okay well, key point is that Bri-tan does NOT like Roshia. Roshia is trouble no matter how one looks at it, and should be monitored. That said, Bri-tan is not active enough to say anything or DO anything against the Russian unless something is done in return. Allying happens only out of necessity, or pure laziness. She's not happy about Roshia harming Meriken in Mayfield, so at present there is a state of loathing.
Vince Noir →
numanstan"So, you sorta like the Queen or somethin'? Or does everybody live in your hair?"
♠ ♣ ♦ ♥
Bri-tan is very fond of Vince. He's charming, silly, and has just enough optimism in him to keep her in a good mood. While she keeps her distance from most, she feels relatively comfortable talking with Vince. Maybe this is just because he's one of her only citizens that she's met, but who knows. She enjoys his company and very happily goes about keeping up with how he's doing. His little jam jar will remain on the easiest to reach shelf ;u;
Iceland →
puffinparadise"I didn't even know we had gardening books in this house."
♠ ♣ ♦ ♥
So big deal if Ice-tan is a pain in the but? Iceland seems like an alright kid. There are some conflicts between then, but more or less Bri-tan likes Iceland because he's calm, quiet, and doesn't cause her problems like most teenagers do. he seems responsible, so all the better, she doesn't have to worry about caring for him constantly.
America →
redscareandblue"You know, you're really not even close to as big a jerk as I would have thought!"
♠ ♣ ♦ ♥
Oh lord, Bri-tan adores America and has no idea how England finds him so unbearable. He's charming, respectable, and maybe a little bit of an airhead at times, but she deems that it adds to his charm. She thinks it excellent that America isn't like... crazy like Meriken was during the Cold War, so she has faith that America will always remain a charming, optimistic young man. She cares for him like a son, and would happily admit to her motherly affections--unlike with Meriken.
Canada →
mr_blandy_bland"Canada. I'm you're owner, remember?"
♠ ♣ ♦ ♥
Canada has always seemed like a pleasant young man in Bri-tan's eyes. That said, that doesn't mean there aren't times the Brit wants to tap Canada on the forehead and say "speak up! You'll never get heard that way!" It's part of how she is. Give her the chance, and she'd give Canada a good parade about the streets. "This, my dears, is Canada. Remember him well!"
Fransu →
cheesewithwine"Oh? La Petite Princess finally shows herself~."
♠ ♣ ♦ ♥
Bri-tan and Fransu have known each other longer than Bri-tan can remember. She detests nearly everything about the woman, down to the silly little trills and strange food she eats. Fransu is probably one of the few people Bri would openly put down. She still needs Fransu, though, as an ally and frienemy, and if crap hits the fan, these two are paired up in an instant. Bri-tan neither loves nor hates Fransu, but she's most certainly not neutral on the matter.
Afugan →
working_is_hard"Afu!"
♠ ♣ ♦ ♥
Afuganis-tan is the little pink turban Bri used to care for. While during her rule in the middle eastern countries, Bri-tan was a much more aggressive lady to her house keepers, she still liked them. Aufgan was cute, and today she appreciates the little nation by ignoring her--well, not entirely. She still has a tendency to pick on the Afghan, but if she needed help, Bri would be there.
England →
is_an_island"Well, I wouldn't want to be taxed."
♠ ♣ ♦ ♥
England... gets quite the stretch of emotions from Bri-tan. She has a sisterly adoration for the other England, and a mutual bond that comes from two people sharing the exact same lives. They're different, and part of the reason Bri-tan is constantly reminding people that they are not the same is so that she knows that. A lot of their changes reach that conclusion "We're not the same people, even if we are the same nation." At the same time, Bri finds herself mildly jealous of the other England, simply because he seems to have things that she never got. She's content without them, but it was the sheer concept of "Am I just as good as England?" Her affection outweighs her uneasiness, but it's still there.
Hong Kong →
scentofbauhinia"Are you going to make me eat scones now?"
♠ ♣ ♦ ♥
Your firecrackers concern her. ON A DIFFERENT NOTE, Hong Kong is cool in Bri-tan's books. While her Hong-kun was a lot more energized than this guy, Hong Kong's general calmness helps her keep her relaxed around him in return. She cares and worries about Hong Kong, and obviously wants to protect him. For example: slapping China. Mother knows best!
