Since I last posted, I have turned 25 and have watched a stupid amount of television. I have failed at NaNoWriMo and succeeded at knitting, if only because snow (see above) is a great motivating factor when one doesn't actually own gloves. There has been Arrested Development (which is as good as everyone says it is), Reno 911!*, Boomtown, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow in equal measure, and plenty of West Wing. I have abandoned Heroes and I have bought comic books specifically because Nick Fury was on the cover. It has been a good month.
Tomorrow morning, weather permitting, I will board a plane to Paris for my first visit to continental Europe. There, I will be cold and slightly damp, but less so than if I stayed in Vancouver. And I'm told they have chocolate croissants there. You see how my motives shift into focus.
For those of you in Vancouver or heading that way, I'll be flying back (again, weather permitting) December 31st. ;)
* I can't even begin to describe how ashamed I feel of the fact I find Garcia attractive. It's the salt-and-pepper hair and the -- aw, goddamnit.
