For the first time in I don't know when, I actually felt confident and comfortable at work today. I'm not sure why; the workload was lighter than usual, sure, but only a crazy person would find it manageable. There was no doom, there was no gloom, and I'd even forgotten to take my meds.* Despite the stress and the tired and the frantic, it has been a good day. I'm as amazed as you are.

I enjoyed it. A lot, actually. For all the pretzels and the "misunderestimations", it was humanizing and surprisingly sympathetic. But really, while the guy's still president? Watching it in theatres, knowing the guy is still in charge, is almost surreal.

On a somewhat related note, I understand that both Sarah Palin and Josh Brolin will be on
SNL this week. I think the word I'm looking for is LOL.
